A timeless choice that anchors the memory:
-
Emma & Noah — September 12, 2025
-
The Parkers — Est. 2025
2. A Favorite Quote or Vow
Borrow a line from their vows or include a quote that speaks to their love story:
-
I choose you. And I’ll choose you over and over.
-
From this day forward, you shall not walk alone.
3. Shared Last Name or Family Title
A simple, elegant way to mark their new beginning:
-
The Bennett Family
-
Mr. & Mrs. Carter
4. Location or Coordinates
Include the city, venue name, or even the exact coordinates:
-
Chicago, IL — Where it all began
-
41.8781° N, 87.6298° W
5. A Verse or Spiritual Message
Ideal for faith-based couples or ceremonies:
-
“Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13:8
-
“What God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Mark 10:9
6. A Message From You
Make it personal with a short note or inside joke:
-
With love, from your forever third wheel — Sarah
-
Wishing you a lifetime of laughter & late-night snacks — Uncle Mike
7. A Custom Design Element
Consider pairing the text with a visual like:
-
A line drawing of the couple, wedding venue, or rings
-
A floral border, monogram, or symbol that reflects their style
No matter what you choose, the best engravings are the ones that feel personal, sincere, and uniquely theirs.
FAQs
What materials are used for the plaques?
All plaques in this collection are made from premium black granite. Granite is an ideal choice for outdoor memorials because it is highly durable, weather-resistant, and retains the fine detail of laser engraving over time.
Can I add a photo to my plaque?
Yes. You can upload a high-quality photo during the ordering process. We recommend submitting the original, unedited image for the best engraving quality. Our team will handle cropping and adjustments for optimal results.
How should I prepare my photo for engraving?
Use the original photo taken by your phone or camera—avoid screenshots or downloaded images from social media, as these are often low resolution. Scanned printed photos should be scanned at 300 DPI or higher. If we encounter any issues with your image, we’ll contact you.
Will I see a proof before the engraving is done?
Yes. Once we receive your order and photo, we will send you a design proof to review and approve before we begin engraving. Be sure to check your email (including spam folders) to avoid delays.
How long does it take to make and ship my plaque?
After you approve your proof, your custom granite plaque will be engraved and ready to ship within 1–2 business days. Shipping within the U.S. typically takes 3–5 business days, depending on your location.
What if my plaque arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or with a defect, please contact us right away. We’ll make a new engraved plaque and ship it to you as quickly as possible.
Can I return a custom plaque?
Because each plaque is custom-made, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you’re not satisfied, contact us directly—we’re committed to making it right.
Where can the plaques be displayed?
Our granite plaques are suitable for outdoor or indoor use. They can be placed in gardens, near headstones, or on display inside the home. Many styles also include stakes or easels for versatile display options.
How durable is the engraving over time?
Laser engraving on granite is permanent. It won’t fade, peel, or wear away. Your memorial will remain legible and beautiful for years, even when exposed to outdoor elements.
