What if my photo isn't good enough?

Go ahead and submit the photo you love! Our team will carefully prepare your image for engraving and make adjustments where possible to improve clarity and detail.

We understand that when memorializing a beloved pet or loved one, the perfect photo may not exist. We can often work with older or lower-quality images, although the original photo's quality will affect the finished engraving.

If we have concerns about your image, we'll contact you before proceeding. There is no risk in ordering: If we're unable to create a proof you're happy with, we'll provide a full refund. Nothing is engraved until you approve your design.

Will I see a proof of my plaque before it is engraved?

Absolutely! We'll email you a digital proof within 1–2 business days of placing your order.

You'll have the opportunity to review your photo, wording, and layout and request changes through our online proofing system. Nothing is engraved until you've approved your design.

All design proofs are sent to the email address provided at checkout. Please ensure your email address is correct and check your spam or junk folder if you haven't received your proof.

If our emails are rejected or returned as undeliverable due to an invalid or inaccessible email address, the standard proof approval process may be waived, and your order may proceed to engraving without approval after reasonable attempts to contact you.

Will my actual plaque look exactly like my proof?

Your digital proof is a representation of the engraving design, but the finished plaque will have a softer contrast than what appears on your screen.

Digital screens display bright whites and deep blacks. On natural black granite, the dark areas are the polished stone, while the lighter areas are created by laser engraving, which exposes the light gray stone beneath.

Because the engraving is not printed in white, the finished photo will not appear as bright as the digital proof. This is a natural characteristic of laser engraving on granite.

Can my wood plaque be displayed outdoor?

No, our engraved wood plaques are designed for indoor display only. Exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, and changing weather conditions can cause warping, fading, or deterioration over time. For outdoor memorials or garden displays, we recommend our durable engraved granite plaques, which are better suited for outdoor conditions.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We'll typically email your digital proof within 1–2 business days of receiving your order.

Once you approve your proof, we'll begin engraving and prepare your plaque for shipment. Most orders arrive approximately 7–12 days after the order is placed, depending on proof approval and shipping transit times.

Please keep in mind that delays in approving your proof or requesting revisions may extend the delivery timeline.

Can I make changes after I place my order?

Yes! You'll have the opportunity to request changes to your photo, wording, or layout when you receive your digital proof.

We want you to feel confident in your design before engraving begins. However, once you've approved your proof and production has started, changes or cancellations are no longer possible.
